A client asked me a question the other day. It’s one which I’ve been asked scores of times over the years, albeit it usually by people interviewing me. Before thinking about the insulation of the facades of the house, you need to understand that additional warming of the walls is not necessary.

In many cases, the use of insulation is determined by the value of the coefficient of resistance to heat transfer (R) of the walls of the house. For example, it is possible not to insulate houses built using frame technology, aerated concrete (more than 35 cm thick) or ceramic blocks (more than 44 cm thick).

However, often the decision to insulate walls is taken even in such cases. Indeed, an increase in the coefficient R of external walls and other house designs make it possible to reduce the cost of heating the cottage.

Their work on our website and Internet marketing has made a significant different to our business.
